long time no write!

up close with sea stitch pattern using cotton and bamboo yarn
Hi there yes it has been a long time since I have blogged and that is because I have been very very busy with San Chelsea with holiday bookings and getting ready for Rod's nephews wedding on Kangaroo Island.(I was going to type super busy but that sounded nerdy.) Any way I still kept busy with crocheting a shawl to wear as it may come in handy if it got cold. So I decided I had to bead. Had some swaroski crystal beads in my stash and off I went after selecting a pattern from a handy book by Betty Barnden 'Handbook of Crochet Stitches'.

can just see the beading in the photo shawl is 2m long enough to toss over the shoulders

and its soft and cosy and not too heavy to wear.
